PG Zoology
It is a two-year PG program spread over 4 semesters of 6 months each. The course covers entire aspects of animal sciences, which includes Animal Diversity & Taxonomy, Structural & Functional aspects of Animals, ranging from Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics & Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Applied Zoology (Fisheries, Apiculture, Parasitology, Wild Life, Entomology, etc.), Ethology, etc. Moreover, interdisciplinary courses are also taught to the students in other departments on the campus. PG dissertations are carried out in their last i.e., 4th semester with remarkable credit weightage. The research is carried out in robust manner involving collaborations with ither institutions of repute. To acquaint the students with art of presenting their findings, a PPT presentation scheduled is notified for PG 1st Semester. Field trips, out-reach program and trainings at other institutions of repute with whom the department has MOUs is a routine
