English as Minor
The course introduces the students to major movements related to plays and playwrights. It creates literary sensibility in students and exposes them to artistic and innovative use of language. It hones the creative potential of students through creative expressions of different writers. It familiarizes them with different literary styles, thematic concerns, and worldviews and inculcates a sense of critical appreciation in them for different genre of literature. More importantly, it acquaints the students with diverse literary and historical milieu, culture, human responsibility, morality and ethics.
