Department of Mathematics
Courses Offered
The Department of Mathematics offers a comprehensive curriculum designed according to the National Education Policy (NEP) framework. The courses are structured to provide students with strong foundations in Pure and Applied Mathematics while also promoting analytical thinking, logical reasoning, computational skills, and interdisciplinary applications.
The curriculum gradually progresses from introductory mathematical concepts to advanced and research-oriented topics. The programme includes Core Theory (CT) courses, Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), and Multidisciplinary (MD) courses that collectively prepare students for higher studies, research, competitive examinations, and professional careers.
